Circle K Belgium SA processes your personal data to provide access to the site's services and to facilitate your visit. As the data controller, Circle K Belgium collects and processes your data to manage your fuel card application, follow up on your customer account, and execute the contract.
Your personal data will not be processed subsequently in a manner incompatible with the purposes described in this Charter or the collection forms. Your data is stored based on the needs of Circle K Belgium SA and legal provisions. We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the processing purposes for which they were collected and any related authorized purpose or as required by law.
The retention periods for your personal data are detailed in the table below, based on the three (3) main purposes for processing personal data by Circle K Belgium SA:

2. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
The processing of personal data by the Company primarily occurs based on its legitimate interest, the existence and performance of the contract, a legal obligation, or consent.
Proper execution of the contract concluded with Circle K Belgium SA requires processing personal data for the purposes listed above.
Circle K Belgium SA’s legitimate interest means that it must be able to process your personal data to provide the site's services, respond to your inquiries, compile statistics, or, for example, implement its fraud prevention policy.
We require certain personal data to comply with our legal obligations, especially regarding tax administration. Without this information, Circle K Belgium SA will not be able to process your request and will be in violation of the law.

The data controller takes appropriate measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data, particularly to prevent your data from being distorted, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, delete your personal data, and the right to object. You also have the right to object to commercial prospecting according to applicable regulations.
